Kenneth was born on June 27, 1960 in Austin, Texas to parents William L. and Carolyn Ann Dillard and entered into eternal rest on August 26, 2018 at the age of 58. Kenneth graduated from high school in London, England. After high school he joined the United States Air Force in 1978 and was honorably discharged in 1995, after reaching the rank of SSGT. He received numerous medals and campaign ribbons during his years of service. Kenneth served in Desert Storm and Desert Shield. He received the Air Force Commendation Medal with one oak leaf cluster, Air Force Achievement Medal, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with four oak leaf clusters, Air Force Good Conduct Medal with four oak leaf clusters, National Defense Service Medal, Air Force Overseas Short Tour Ribbon with two oak leaf clusters, Air Force Longevity Service Award Ribbon, with three oak leaf clusters, NCO Professional Military Education Graduate Ribbon and USAF Supervisor’s Course. Kenneth was an active member of ALR Post 310, Gun Barrel City. After retirement, Kenneth enjoyed being with his family and friends. He loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles, especially “Honey Bee”. Kenneth loved listening to good music and his motto was “Peace, Love and Happiness”. He was an excellent man with good, solid values. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his loving wife Deborah Dillard of Mabank, daughter Charlotte Ellen Marie Dillard of Las Vegas, granddaughter Victoriana Marie Ely of Las Vegas, granddaughter Madison Sophia Brodie of Las Vegas, daughter Kimberley Renae Fitts and wife Brandi Fitts of Tool, daughter Deborah (Dippie) Brown and husband Jeremy Brown of Kemp, granddaughter Erynn Grey Pangle, brother Donnie Dillard and wife Sheila of Ft. Worth, other loving family members and many more lifelong friends.
