Kyle didn’t have much, but what he did have was an abundance of love for his family and those around him. He would absolutely give you the shirt off of his back if he thought you needed it. He enjoyed cooking, fixing things, a good Vince Gill song, and more than anything he loved his dog, Izzy. If there was something you needed done, Kyle didn’t hesitate to lend a helping hand. Kyle could light up a room with his infectious smile.
Kyle will always be remembered for the love and affection he showed his family. The strength and courage he displayed in fighting a constant battle with mental illness is a testament to his true character. Mental illness is a silent monster that many do not understand or see and Kyle fought that battle for many, many years. Sadly, his pain became overwhelming and he lost his battle to mental illness. While his loss is devastating, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
“The pain that you’ve been feeling can’t compare to the joy that’s coming.” - Romans 8:18
Kyle may have taken his last breath here on earth, but his next breath was at the feet of Jesus, and he is finally feeling the joy he has been longing for.
