Larry Gene Hubbard Sr.

Larry Hubbard, of Trinidad Texas, passed away on 07/01/2026 in Tyler Texas. He will always be remembered as a loving husband and father to all that knew and loved him. He was born on 12/14/1946 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to loving parents Robert Earl Hubbard Sr. and Ouida Nell Hubbard. Larry was known as an avid fisherman who loved to take his grandchildren out on the water to fish. He also enjoyed playing golf, telling jokes and spending time with friends and family. He was also a successful entrepreneur who owned his own glass repair company.

He is preceded in death by his brother Robert Earl Hubbard Jr. and his sister Mary Ellen Hubbard Sprayberry.

He is survived by his loving wife Sandra Temple Hubbard, his sons Dr. Larry Gene Hubbard Jr. (Kristin Hubbard), Christopher Richard Hubbard (Shelly Hubbard), his daughter Laura Hubbard Jones (Kevin Jones), grandchildren; Cole, Madison, Jordan (Scott Poindexter), Connor, Zander, Lucas, great grandchildren, Richmond and Margaret Temple. Sister Sue Hubbard Griffith, and many nieces and nephews

Services will be held on July 25 at 11:00 with visitation at 10:00 at Cedar Creek Lake United Methodist Church in Tool, Tx. In lieu of flowers please donate to Cedar Creek Lake United Methodist Church at cclumc.com
