On May 19, 2025, Linda J. Teppenpaw went home to be with her Heavenly Father, held in the hearts and prayers of those who loved her.
Born on September 14, 1950, in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, Linda was raised in a devoted military household by Lowell and Maxine Pahl. She lived around the world, traveling with her family and experiencing many cultures and places, which helped shape her compassionate and adventurous spirit. She found home in many places but carried a steadfast heart anchored in grace and love.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lowell and Maxine; her beloved husband, Raymond Clay; and her cherished grandson, Austin (Connie), whose memory remained close to her heart.
Linda is survived by her loving children: Lauren Soucy (who was placed for adoption at birth), Connie Young (Rory), and George Weilenmann. She also leaves behind much-loved grandchildren: Chandra Dunn (Mike), Nicholas Soucy; and Brandon (Cana), Jessica, and Adam Young. Her roots continued into the next generation with great-grandchildren: Caylynne, Aaliyah, and Nicholas Jr. In addition, she is survived by her brother Rodney Pahl (Linda). A special thank you to Melissa and Kelly her caregivers!
Linda lived a full and vibrant life. She found immense joy in being a mother and took pride in raising her children with compassion and strength. She loved nothing more than time spent with family, laughter shared around a card table playing pinochle, or singing hymns with her church choir, where her voice was both a gift and a ministry.
She was a woman of many talents and passions: a semi-professional bowler in her younger years, a faithful servant in her church community, and an enthusiastic traveler. Some of her favorite memories were made exploring the Mediterranean, visiting Alaska, and on countless other beloved trips to Colorado with her daughter.
A celebration of Linda’s life will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Cedar Creek Lake United Methodist Church in Tool, Texas. All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend. Flowers, arrangements or messages of remembrance may be sent to Cedar Creek Lake United Methodist Church.
Though she will be missed beyond words, we rejoice in knowing she is now at peace, singing joyfully in the presence of her Savior.
