

Lizzie “Dale” Clark was born on January 5, 1926 in Kerens, Texas to parents Emmett H. Combs and Ludie Ann Lemon and entered into eternal rest on September 9, 2015 at the age of 89. Dale attended schools in Kerens, TX. She loved traveling to National Parks with her husband, in their motor home. One of her favorite places was Colorado. Dale would fish anywhere that would accept a hook, she even caught an alligator out of a creek off of Lake Livingston. She loved to bake and was considered to be a “Cookie Angel” at her church; where she loved to volunteer. Dale was Presbyterian by faith and belonged to the women’s group of her church; where she helped with stuffing comfort toys for hospitals. She was a very loving and caring lady who will be missed tremendously by those who knew and loved her.
Dale was preceded in death by her parents, husband John Stanley Clark Jr., brother William “Shorty” Combs, brother Leonard Combs and sister Cleo Padgett.
She is survived by her daughter Donna “Dale” Mirtz and husband Charles, daughter Karen Sue Juica and husband Michael, grandchildren; Patsy Huddleston and husband Jason, Cynthia Sonoff and husband Daniel, John Harris and wife Laura, Lisa Juica, Justin Juica and wife Monica and Nathan Juica, 11 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, brother Emmett Jay Combs Jr. and wife Wanda, other loving family members and friends.
