Lloyd Patrick Haddix

Lloyd Haddix, of Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday the 24th in Kaufman, Texas. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, and father to all that knew and loved him. He was born on September 20th, 1941, in Fresno, California to Lloyd Harvey Haddix, and Eva Marguerite Egan Haddix. Lloyd Was a pious, hardworking, generous, and kind man. He loved his Wife of 22 years Paula Haddix, and family with proportional love for his other commitments, the three G’s, God, Gunsmoke, and Golf. He also was found of car races, western and Irish music. He was also a great cook who took the time to keep his family well fed. You would also find him making wooden plaques in his off time. Most of his life was spent as a custodian in the twilight of his career he worked at First Baptist Church in Louisiana where he made many friends.

Lloyd is survived by his loving wife of 22 years Paula Jo Haddix, his stepchildren; Tammy (husband Kevin Smith), Gary (wife Virginia Hawkins), David Hawkins, and Joanna Hawkins. Grandchildren; Tyler and Liberty Smith, Maci and Aaron Romo, Britanee Montalvo, Robert Hawkins, Preston Tennis, Victoria and Jacob Adams, Anthony and Jessica Poe, Jeffery and Amanda Hein, and Douglas Hunter. Great Grandchildren; Austin and Makayla Hunter, Dustin Hunter, Briana Calix, Naiara Montalvo, Titus and Heidi Adams, Ryder Poe, and Wyatt Romo. He was preceded in death by his loving parents Lloyd Harvey Haddix, and Eva Marguerite Egan Haddix.
