Lu Schrage

Mary LuElla (Schnell) Schrage was born in Los Angeles, California on May 10,1931 to parents Fredric T. Schnell and Eugenia B. (West) Schnell. She entered into eternal rest on January 09, 2020 at the age of 88 in Athens, Texas. Lu, as she was known to those who were lucky to know her, was a very outgoing and loving woman. She loved being in and around the water, she was a sun worshiper at heart. Lu was very artistic and she loved reading, and she was an avid gardener. She loved her family especially her grandchildren. She was a member of the Cedar Creek Garden Club, Cedar Creek Women’s Club and the Cedar Creek Literary Club.

Lu is preceded in death by her parents and siblings.

She is survived by her daughter Roxie Cloyes and husband Mike of Gun Barrel City, TX, son Garth TenNapel and wife Jane of Terrell, TX, grandchildren Lori Laurent and husband Steve Smith of Tool, TX, Hallie Easley and husband Scott of Athens, TX, Hayden Laurent and wife Diana of Tool, TX, great-grandchildren Shane Kelso, Lexie Laurent, Cayden Laurent, Kimberly Parsons and husband Mike, and Maverick Easley, and many other loving family members and life long friends.
