

Melodie Anne Neeley of Kemp, Texas, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Melodie was born in Big Springs, Texas on December 14, 1950, to H.N. Holcombe and Janet Hurley who waited for her arrival at the gates of Heaven.
She attended Bronte High School and was in the graduating class of 1969. Melodie loved to spend her days playing tennis, golfing, and fishing. Melodie was Baptist raised and loved the Lord. She married Ron Neeley on April 16, 1971 in Amarillo.
She is survived by her husband Ron Neeley of 54 years of marriage. Their children: Jon and (Jessica) Neeley of Madill, Oklahoma. Mindy and (Daniel) Eamello of Kemp Texas. Valerie and (Randall) Edwards of Andrews Texas. Libby Handley of Scobee Texas. She was blessed with grandchildren: Morgan and Brayden, Tucker and Brielle, Charlotte and Cordtland. Three Great-grandchildren; Levi, Makayla and William. Her brother Jerry Don Holcombe of Chandler Texas, sister Sharon Epperson of Blackwell Texas, sister Donnah Payne of Chandler Texas. She had nieces and nephews across the map.
Melodie was the heart of the family, radiating love to all who surrounded her. She cherished her children and grandchildren, and never passed up the opportunity to cheer them on at a soccer game, gymnastics meet, or a baseball tournament. To most, she was Melodie, but to a special few, she was “Mimi”. Melodie’s sweet and comforting spirit will be missed by her many friends and relatives. Heaven gained the sweetest angel.
