He is survived by his mother, Rosalie Heptinstall Zimmerman of Mabank TX; brother, Daniel (Edie) Zimmerman, and their children, Sam and Sarah of Rockwall, Tx; brother, Bayron Alvarez of Dallas, TX; aunt, Dorothy (William) Landreth of Va Beach, VA; first cousins, Krista Bell, Wes Heptinstall and Melissa Stepka.
From the time he was a young boy, music lived in his heart. He found his true joy behind his drums, playing with a rhythm and passion that was apparent to everyone who heard them.
He was preceded in death by his uncle, John Wesley Heptinstall the 3rd.
He was a really sweet and kind person. He always had a gentle word, and he was deeply thoughtful and complimentary to his mother throughout his life.
He faced his long journey with cancer with quiet courage. His presence and kindness will be missed by those who loved him.
