Mrs. Michelle Elyse Del Regno Baldwin

Michelle Elyse DelRegno Baldwin passed away surrounded by loved ones on May 30, 2014. Born July 5, 1972, Michelle graduated from Mabank High School in 1990 and earned a B.A. in Education from Stephen F. Austin State University. For over a decade, Michelle dedicated herself to serving the special needs students of Mabank ISD. She truly loved her students and had a gift for helping them exceed expectations. For Michelle, family was her entire world. She is survived by her husband Michael Baldwin Sr., her great love and soul mate. She was a doting and dedicated mother to Lauren Huffaker and Christian Hitchcock, who were her strength and inspiration. She is survived by her parents Chris and Deborah Del Regno, her brother Nick and sister-in-law Sara Del Regno, her sister Stephanie Smith, and beloved nieces and nephews Joshua, Andrew and Trinity Del Regno and Elise and Skye Smith. Michelle was talented and unique; she could sing and harmonize beautifully, had soccer skills to spare, could quote any line from “Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?,” and was the stubbornest woman you’d ever meet. She will be remembered as a true friend and a bright light in many lives. She will be terribly missed and joyfully remembered. Michelle’s life will be celebrated at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home (601 S. 3rd St., Mabank, TX) with a visitation Thursday, June 5th from 6-8 pm and funeral Friday, June 6th at 2:00 pm. Coordinating flowers may be arranged through Mabank Floral & Gifts or, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mabank Special Olympics (P.O. Box 122, Mabank, TX 75147).
