Mrs. Nada "Red" Roylene Smith Dyer

Roylene Dyer was born on May 25, 1950 in Prairieville, Texas to parents Roy Junius and Veda Alene (Sapp) Smith and entered into eternal rest on May 1, 2019 at the age of 68. Roylene graduated from Mabank High School in 1969. She went to Trinity Valley to become a Beautician. Roylene married her sweetheart, Bill Dyer, on June 19, 1969 in Odom, Texas. Together they started a family. They were members of Mabank Church of Christ. Roylene was a selfless person, who always put others before herself. She was a team player and enjoyed going to visit the sick, elderly and veterans. You never heard her complaining and she was always empathetic to others and their needs. Roylene had a special talent of reading people, she could tell if something was wrong. She would write those letters to lift their spirits. Roylene was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She will be missed immensely by those who knew and loved her.

Roylene was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter Shellie Dawn Haley.

She is survived by her loving husband Bill Dyer of Mabank, son Billy Roy Dyer and wife Angela of Phalba, daughter Tracy Rash and husband Jeff of Lampasas, son Russell Dyer and wife Traci of Mabank, son Adam Dyer and wife Cara of Athens, grandchildren; Brittany Dyer, Corey Dyer and wife Amanda, Rebecca Dyer, Zackary Dyer, Mariah Villines, Jeffery Rash, Sierra Rash, Hagen Dyer, Cooper Dyer and Keaton Dyer, great-granddaughter Hannah Dyer, sisters; Lorette Rogillio and husband Tony of Mabank and Teresa Owens and husband Ernest of Mabank, other loving family members and many more lifelong friends.
