Mrs. Patricia Ann Whatley Vaught

Patricia Ann Whatley Vaught was born on November 7, 1946 to parents Leon and Sybil (Hooper) Gaston in Dallas, Texas and entered into eternal rest on September 9, 2019 at the age of 72. She retired from Bank of America where she was lovingly known as Miss Pat. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed baking. Patricia also enjoyed playing Bingo, thrift-store shopping and sewing. There were countless little things that would make her giggle and laugh. She will be remembered by her church family at Centerpoint in Mesquite, TX as a very special lady. Pat was an amazing mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was abounding with unconditional love. She will be truly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Jerry Whatley and second husband Johnny Vaught.

She is survived by her daughter Barbi Barnes and husband Kelly of Combine, son Jerry Whatley of Fort Worth; grandchildren: Nicki Sauve, Matthew Whatley and wife Melody and Heather Whatley; great-grandchildren: Ryan Whatley and Holly Whatley; other loving family members and many more lifelong friends.

She will be missed more than words can express. The world has lost a GREAT woman, but our love for her lives on. She has left a footprint on our hearts that has forever changed us.
