Patsy Ruth Finley Vinson

Patsy "Nanny" went to be with the lord on July 13,2026. She was born to Willie Joe Finley and Mamie Ruth Conway Finley on February 15, 1947 in Bonham, Texas. She moved to Duncanville as a young girl, where she was baptized at the age of 13 or 14 as a member of the Dallas Christian Church. She graduated from Duncanville High School in 1965. She married the love of her life, Robert Weldon Vinson on May 29, 1965. They moved to Mabank in 1972 where they lived, raising their 3 children: Suzie, Eddie, and Jason. She worked as a homemaker and teacher's assistant at Mabank ISD. She loved her kids, grand-kids, great grand-kids, genealogy, crafting, parties and visiting with friends.

She is proceeded in death by parents; Willie Joe Finley and Mamie Ruth Conway Finley; husband, Robert “Bob” Weldon Vinson; daughter, Suzanna “Suzie” Ruth Vinson; Father-in-law, Earnest Weldon “Blackie” Vinson; Mother-in-law, Mildred Werner Vinson; and Brother-in-law, Rufus Junior Nutt.

She is survived by her sons; Ronald Edward "Eddie" Vinson and wife Shannon, Jason Weldon Vinson and wife Heather. Grandchildren; Nathan Vinson and wife Kayla, Joe Vinson and wife Mikalla, Shyanne Vinson Kelly and husband Robert, Matthew Vinson and Julie Vinson. Great grandchildren; Aiden, Emersyn, Levi and Maverick. Brother, Bill Finley; Sister-in-law, Jeanette Vaughn and husband Robert; and Sister-in-law, Anita Nutt. She left behind many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be on Saturday - August 1, 2026 at Clearview Bible Church starting at 10am with service to follow beginning at 11am. Graveside service will be at Four Mile Cemetery around 12pm, followed by a fellowship at Four Mile Lutheran Church Parish Hall.
