Mr. Paul Joy Patton was born on May 11, 1943 to parents Derwood and Sally Patton. He entered into rest on September 22, 2020, at the age of 77. Paul was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother. He loved his family dearly and worked hard to provide. Paul was a member of the Church of Christ in Mabank, Texas and was sincere in his faith, served as a deacon for many years, and was a strong, compassionate song leader. He had a healthy love of flying radio-controlled airplanes and the challenges of gardening and growing things. One of his greatest joys for many years was sitting in the yard swing in the cool of an evening with his “Rosebud” (Donna) and looking at the beauty of God’s creation that his hands were blessed to nurture.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, wife Donna, his beloved “Rosebud,” and sister Pattie. He is survived by his daughter; Karen Kossowsky and husband Andy, sons; Phillip Patton and wife Stephanie, Patrick Patton, sisters; Sue Furlong, Jane Campbell, Sandra Fast, grandchildren; Alexander Kossowsky, Cassandra Kossowsky, Jacob Patton, Clint Patton and Zoë Patton. He leaves behind other loved ones and many lifelong friends.
