Paula Draughon was born on January 12, 1955 in Dallas, Texas to parents Harold and Dorothy L. (Cady) Bennett and entered into eternal rest on December 9, 2016 at the age of 61. Paula was the heart and soul of her family. She was very outgoing and talkative. Paula loved to buys cars; her favorite was her Corvette with the license plate that read “FLY1216”. She was an avid, yelling at the TV, Texas Rangers fan. She went to a great many games, including the tie-breaker, that they lost and she would yell frequently at the umps! Paula was a very kind and loving lady who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Paula was preceded in death by her parents and brother Glen Harold Bennett.
She is survived by her loving husband Dwight Draughon of Mabank, son Jason Draughon of Gun Barrel City, sister Linda Maldenaldo and husband Carlos of Mabank, brother Carl Bennett and wife Jeanine of Ferris, many other loving family members and many more friends.
