Philip Spencer Oakley was granted his angel wings on August 7, 2017. Philip loved to be outdoors. His main interest was fishing, particularly bass fishing. He was eager to move out to the country to catch his first Texas Bass. Philip loved all animals. He spent most of his days volunteering at an animal shelter, walking dogs and helped care for horses and chickens at a ranch in California. He never hesitated to lend a helping hand and show compassion and love to those he met. Philip loved to listen to music and was a true expert on the skateboard. With Philip’s passing we remind others that though we mourn the loss of him, we celebrate that he is now in the Kingdom of Heaven. Philip touched the lives of the people and animals he met during his life. We will forever miss his gentle spirit.
Philip is survived by his father Fred Oakley of California, mother Sophia Ranck of Texas, step-father Craig A. Copen of Texas, sister Rebekah Flint of Florida, brother Brian Flint of California, brother Joseph Oakley of Texas and sister Faith Ranck of Texas.
