Rickie was born on September 20, 1954 in Dallas, Texas to parents Athel Murff and Leota (Morris) Cook and entered into eternal rest on August 19, 2017 at the age of 62. Rickie was an amazing father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. Rickie also liked being outdoors hunting and fishing. He will truly be missed by those who knew and loved him.
Rickie was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his daughter Tammy Estell and husband Ernest of Mabank, son Rickie Murff Jr. of Cleveland, son Michael Murff of Mabank and daughter Ashlyn Castell and spouse Rachel of Duncan, OK, grandchildren; Christopher Murff, Dakota Estell, Austin Murff, Ashley Murff, Breanna Murff, Clayton Murff, Hunter Murff, Landen Murff and Jaelyn Castell, great-grandchild Ty Murff, brother Johnny Murff of Seven Points, brother Jeff Murff and wife Susan of Seagoville, sister Glenda Bradshaw and husband Bill of Pointe, sister Patricia Childers of LaDonia, other loving family members and many more friends.
