Robert W. Friye

Robert W. Friye, age 83, of Mabank, Texas passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022. Robert was born October 5, 1938; to parents, Ernest Theodore Friye and Mary Francis Feld, in Quincy, IL. He was a caring and doting brother and friend; who loved to socialize and spending time with his friends. Robert was skilled and out-going, he used his talents in building his own Geodesic Dome shaped house. Catholic by faith, Robert had a huge and caring heart; one that could make lifelong friends everywhere he went. This United States Navy Veteran, proudly served his country for four years. Robert will be greatly missed by all of those he touched in his lifetime, even his loving cats.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest T. Friye and Mary F. Feld; brothers, Ernie Friye and Richard Friye; as well as his sisters, Marie Duesterhaus and Dolores Numann.

Robert is survived by his sister, Dorothy Wetzharger of Brush, CO; closest friends of over 40 years, Jim Churchwell and Brad Cary; along with many friends of the Baywood Estates.
