Robert Neal Locke was born on October 12, 1947 in Plainview, Texas to parents Robert Shirley Locke and Georgia Florence Barker and entered into eternal rest on March 14, 2016 at the age of 68. He was known as Bob to all of his family and friends. Bob was a family man and loved his grandchildren dearly. He was a hard worker. Bob served in The United States Army and served his country in Korea. He was a retired operations engineering manager for Verizon. Bob was a very loving and caring man who will be missed by all his family and friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Puratta Jean Allbritton, brother Wailon Martin, sister Margaret Rowe, nephew Todd Locke and sister-in-law Paula Locke.
He is survived by his loving wife Sherry Locke of Emory, daughter Misty Newsom and husband Kerry of Emory, son Casey Locke of Emory, grandchildren; Chandra Allbritton of Fate, Chance Newsom of Emory, Kyle Newsom of Emory and Bailey Newsom of Emory, great-grandchildren; Kylie Gaitan of Uvalde and Arianna Nunez of Fate, brother Larry Locke of Mixon, brother Steve Locke and wife Shawna of Mabank, sister Jean Martin Meyer of Flower Mound, many nieces and nephews and many more friends.
