

He was born on July 13, 1971, in Dallas, Texas.
Rollin was a graduate of Mabank High School, Class of 1989. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Tarleton State University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Lamar University. Rollin started his teaching career in Venus, Texas. He taught and coached in Venus, Palmer, Orange Grove, Fort Worth, Grandview, Maybank, Mildred, and Avalon. Rollin served as an NHS Club sponsor and sponsored UIL competitions. He was a member of New Harvest Church in Scurry. Rollin loved all sports, especially baseball. He was known for knowing stats on players that no one else did. Rollin’s hobbies included golf, fishing, listening to music, and visiting with family and friends. He also volunteered in the youth programs of the churches he attended.
Along with his wife, Rollin is survived by his two sons, Eli James Hadsell and Andrew Lane Hadsell; and daughter-in-law Katlyn Hadsell. Rollin was preceded in death by the grandmother who raised him Ruthie Mae Nash.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank, Texas. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service at Payne Springs Cemetery.
