Mr. Roy Lee Chancellor

Roy was born on August 27, 1975 in Houston, TX to parents Roy Chancellor and Kathy Coffman Kelly and entered into eternal rest on October 1, 2014 at the age of 39. Roy was known as “Bubba” by those who knew him best. He loved his family and his dog, “Chabacha”. Roy graduated from Kaufman High School and worked for many years running heavy equipment. He enjoyed watching action movies, cooking, singing and playing his guitar. Roy was an avid reader and loved working with wood. Roy had a huge heart, he would donate and deliver food and gifts at Christmas and Thanksgiving. He was a very loving and caring man, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Roy was preceded in death by fiancé Melanie, grandfather J.C. King, grandparents Robert and Bonnie Chancellor, great-grandmother Georgie Provance ,aunt Elaine Coan and uncle Bob Chancellor.

He is survived by his mother Kathy Kelly of Gun Barrel City, father Roy Chancellor and stepmother Gwen of Deer Park, sisters; Katrina Stultz and husband Donald of Balch Springs, Jackie Kelly of Forney and Melissa Kelly of Gun Barrel City, stepfather Mike Kelly of Forney, stepbrother Jimmy Jones and wife Krisy of Lakeway, stepsister Dedra Barr and husband John of LaPort, grandmother Katherine King of Wills Point, nephew Cain, nieces; Savannah and Georgia, aunts; Patty Jones of Edgwood, Judy Reschke of Wills Point and Janey Payne of Wills Point, other loving family members and many more friends.
