Rudy Shelton, 84, died Friday, October 10, 2014 at the Mabank Nursing Home Mabank, Texas, after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Shelton was the daughter of the late Roy and Julia Roberts. She was origninally from Barnard, N.C. and lived many years in Jonesborough, TN. Mrs. Shelton was a loving wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherdon Shelton, her sister Mary Roberts Coop and brother James Roberts. Survivors include her four daughters; Darlene Shelton-Mora of Mabank, Nelda Villarreal of San Antonio, Juliet Bruno of Bowling Green, KY and M. Elizabeth Kuhn of Riverview, 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
