S. Monte Simmons

Born at home in Lone Oak, Texas on January 18, 1941, Monte was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was marked by faith, family, and quiet strength. She cherished her relationship with the Lord and now rejoices in His presence.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Loften and Mae Lowe; her sisters, Wanda (Bo) Davis and Cathey (Bob) Smith; and her son, Eddie Rudy.

Monte is survived by her sister, Donna (Eddie) Cummings; her son Eddie’s wife, Lynda; her daughters Connie Razak (Ron Divis) and Jennie Burns; her son Bobby (Kim) Sagmiller; her grandchildren Brandi (Paul) Read, Amber (Josh) Ayers, Chris Burns, Cole (Mariah) Rudy, and Madison Sagmiller; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will carry her memory in their hearts.

Her family finds comfort knowing Monte has been welcomed home into eternal joy. Arrangements will be announced by the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Monte’s memory to a local church or charity close to your heart.
