Shirlene Renah Rawlinson was born on June 29, 1956, to Speedy and Shirley Rawlinson in Dallas, Texas. She passed away on March 3, 2024, in Tool, Texas. She loved and lived life to the fullest, always laughing with a big smile on her face. Her favorite thing was being with her family and friends, especially her best friend Vickie Sullivan. She loved the water, whether it was on the lake boating, fishing, swimming or at the beach sunbathing. She also loved to shop, especially for shoes and she loved to travel. Shirlene worked at Roadmasters for 11 years as a Billing Specialist and loved her job and her co-workers. She always enjoyed communicating with her drivers and agents.
Shirlene is preceded in death by her grandparents and her father, Speedy. She is survived by her mother Shirley Rawlinson; sister Shannon Rawlinson; son Michael Duke; daughter Amy and her husband Brant Gary; grandchildren Alexzandra Duke, Mikayleigh and her husband Joey Freeman, Cason Duke and Connor Gary. Great-grandchildren Brinleigh, Kyler and Preston Freeman and niece Rikki and her husband Marshall Thompson. Two uncles Gerald Rawlinson, Ray Fritz and numerous cousins.
A visitation service will be held in the Chapel of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home on Friday, March 8, 2024, from 6:00pm-8:00pm. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Chapel of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 2:00pm.
