Viola Cora Katherine (Dunham) Hurley was born on July 24,1929 in Davis, Oklahoma to parents Virgil and Myrtle (Martin) Dunham and entered into eternal rest on September 30, 2015 at the age of 86. Viola was known as “MamMaw” by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was known as ”Grandma” by her church family at The Tool Praise and Worship Center. She was a woman of strong faith and kept her family close at heart. Viola was a homemaker for 70 years and enjoyed all aspects of it. She loved cooking, crochet, embroidery, quilting, camping and spending time with her grandchildren. Viola spent her life taking care of others and always placed herself second. She was a loving caring lady, who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Viola was preceded in death by her parents, husband Arthur Gene, sons; Arthur Jacob and Charles Roy, brothers Burl Winham and Donald Roy Winham.
She is survived by son Paul Edward Hurley and Tracy of Gun Barrel City, daughter Katherine Rene’ Forman and Bill of Meeker, OK, beloved daughter of the heart Kathy Waldrum of Justin, TX, 9 grandchildren; Chera Lynn, Tarin Jay, Shantale, Bryan, Tonya, Misty, Michael, Tina and Melony, 10 great-grandchildren, other family, and numerous loving friends.
