Vivian was born on December 25, 1924, in Mabank, Texas, to Burton William and Jimmie Thelma (Willeford) Hall and entered into eternal rest on March 9, 2020, at the age of 95. Vivian married Jabe Teague on September 5, 1944, and they had three children. Vivian completed beauty school after having two of her three children and was a beauty operator for many years in Mabank. She later worked at the Mabank Nursing Home, which her parents created and operated. Jabe and Vivian built their lives around their families and friends. After their kids were grown they bought a travel trailer and camped often with many Mabank friends. Vivian also enjoyed gardening, especially flowers, and playing dominoes with friends and family. She was a wonderful cook and everyone especially enjoyed her desserts and most especially her pies. Jabe and Vivian moved in retirement to Southeastern Oklahoma where she lived for many years. There she was involved in her church and with friends at the Senior Center and with family. Vivian was patient, thoughtful, and kind; she saw the good in everyone. She was a Christian and loved the Lord. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will be missed immensely by those who knew and loved her, especially the many who called her Nana.
