William Lee Booth, age 67, of Eustace, Texas passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2022. William was born December 10, 1954 in Dallas, TX.; to parents, Albert Spencer Booth and Elvira Elizabeth Kasten. He married the love of his life, Grace, on July 7, 1982, in Dallas, TX. William retired from the City of Dallas in 2005, after 27 years of service. William was a caring and doting husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather; who loved spending time with his family. William was an adventurous and rustic man, who enjoyed shooting targets, fishing, camping, cooking over a fire, and driving his Ranger around his property. He was always tinkering with little things with big ideas to make them work better. William enjoyed a good margarita and Mexican food. Although, he loved being on the lake, he swam like a rock. Christian, raised Baptist by faith, William would rescue anyone in need without any questions. He was a soft spoken gentleman with a huge heart. William will be truly missed by all of those he touched and loved in his lifetime.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert Spencer Booth and Elvira Elizabeth Kasten; and step-mother, Elsa Booth.
William is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Grace Booth of Eustace, TX.; brother, Spencer Booth and wife Kathryn of Mesquite, TX.; daughter, Vera Lawson and husband Jeff of Eustace, TX.; along with his children by marriage, Mike Huddleston and wife Karen of Eustace, TX., Cynthia Huddleston and partner Becky Moore of Rockwall, TX., James Huddleston of Eustace, TX.; 7 grandchildren, Mikey, Louis, Jeremy, Ben, Cody, Colton, Hattie; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A visitation for William will be held Friday, March 18, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Eubank Memorial Chapel, 601 S. 3rd St. Mabank, Texas 75147. A Funeral service will occur Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Eubank Memorial Chapel.
