

Born on November 8, 1931, in Windom, Texas, Wilma was a daughter of the late Herman Henry Adams and Temperance Etta Early Adams.
Wilma was a strong believer in the Lord Jesus Christ all her life. She worked at Pro Line Cap Company for more than 30 years. She lived in Mabank for more than 30 years and lived in Crowley for the last ten years. She loved her dogs Chico Jack, Killer, and Beau. She was a Dallas Cowboys fan, win or lose. She was happiest when spending time with her grandchildren.
Wilma is survived by her grandchildren Warren Anderson and Misty Castleman and her husband, Randall; her great-grandchildren Tyler James Anderson, Saidee Grace Anderson, Marisa Raelyne Anderson, Khloe Jean Anderson, Steffan Castleman and his wife, Jenny, Caitlin Castleman, and Nicole Castleman and her partner, Kerrick Hawkins; and her great-great-grandchildren Scarlet Anais Anderson, Kyler Hawkins, Anthony Castleman, Randall “R.J.” Castleman, Alexander “A.J.” Castleman and William Castleman.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Herman “Buddy” Peterson; her daughter Winona Raelyne Bostic Anderson; and her brothers James H. Adams and Melburn Mack Adams.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank, Texas. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Payne Springs Cemetery in Payne Springs, Texas.
