Adam A. Levins, 83, of South Beloit, IL, passed away peacefully, Thursday, January 20, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Born July 6, 1938 in Jersey City, New Jersey, the son of John and Jean (Gorski) Levins. Adam married the love of his life, Joyce Walther on May 31, 1958. He proudly served in the United States Air Force. He was employed at Woodward Governor for 20 years. Adam was the proud owner of Spring Valley Lodges for many years, a company that manufactured canvas tents and tipis nationwide. He had a passion for rendezvous’ with his muzzle loader group. Most of all, Adam loved his family fiercely.
Adam is loved and missed by his beloved wife of 63 years, Joyce Levins; children, Steven (Dawn) Levins and Geraldine DiGiovanni; grandchildren, Crystal (Randy) Spencer, Gennifer Day, Robert Levins, Aadam (Nicole) Day, Alaina (Ryan Ickes) Levins and Gillian Levins; great-grandchildren, Isaac, Noah, Gabriel, Tobias, Everlee and Rory. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his son, Michael.
A visitation for Adam will be held Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 North Alpine Road, Machesney Park, Illinois 61115, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
Adam will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Gardens, 8800 N Alpine Rd, Machesney Park, IL 61115-2277.
