Albert Clark

He spent a few years in the military as an M.P., he later married Bobbie Jobe in 1959 and was married to her until her passing in 1991. Albert later married Peggy Barrenger in 1994.

He spent most of his life as a plumber, moving to Rockford in 1964. He started his own business in his 60’s called BC plumbing and worked into his 70’s. He loved his work and talking to people, which made him many lifelong friends. He spent many years with the Rockford React CB Organization which helped motorists in distress. He then joined the Winnebago County Deputy Sherriff’s Program, serving the area for 10 years. He was a member of the Pine Tree Pistol Club for many years. He loved to go camping and fishing.

Survived by his wife, Peggy; sons, Larry Sr., David and Charlie Clark; daughters, Tiny Rodriguez and Peggy (Mark) Carlson; sister, Billie Servadio, 9 nieces and nephews; 23 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren with 3 more to be born this year. He had a special love for his ex- son-in-law Shawn Rodriguez, daughter –in-law Amy Clark, whom remained part of the family; and special granddaughter Tracy Barrenger.

Predeceased by his first wife, Bobbie; parents; brother, James Clark; sister, Doris Ferguson; son, Jim Clark Sr., daughter, Kathy Webb and granddaughter Ashley Simpson.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 11am to 1pm on Thursday, September 12th, 2013 Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd, Machesney Park . Cremation rites will be accorded.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to the family.
