

Alicia King-Johnson, 43, of Riverdale, Georgia passed away on June 2, 2023 in Atlanta Georgia. Alicia was born on March 24, 1980, in Demopolis, Alabama to Ivory James King Sr. and Sadie B. Miller. Alicia grew up in Rockford, IL where she attended West High School.
On March 9, 2015, she was joined in holy matrimony to Eric M. Johnson in Minnesota. Alicia and her family worshipped at The Israel of God Bible Study Class in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She and her family later moved to Georgia where she found her career as an Infant Assistant Teacher at Primrose School of Atlanta Westside. Alicia was an exceedingly kind and sweet soul. Her laughter was contagious; when she laughed, you would find yourself laughing with her. She was also an entrepreneur. Alicia enjoyed making soap and candles. She wanted people to feel a serene ambiance with her products. She was the true epitome of a person who could have fun, share in laughter, love, and relaxation. Alicia was loved by everyone she encountered, and she loved everybody.
Alicia is survived by her Beloved Husband, Eric Michael Johnson: Beloved Children, Adreya Williams, Darius Adin Johnson, and Amaya Marie Johnson of Riverdale, GA; and other Beloved bonus Children Eric Johnson Jr. of Lawrenceville, GA, Emarion Johnson, Airtashia Luster, and Aria Johnson of Danville, IL; Na’Vieon Johnson of Freeport, IL; Dillin Johnson and Erinique Johnson of Rockford, IL; and Nyir Johnson of Jamacia-Queens, NY: Beloved bonus Grandchildren, Kayden Dubose-Johnson, Kartier Braxton, and Kynd Braxton of Rockford, IL; and Ja’Zeir Luster and Zy’Onna Wilson of Danville, IL.
Alicia is also survived by her Parents, Ivory James King, Sr. and Sadie B. (James Long) Miller: Brother, Ivory James King Jr.: Mother-In-Law, Denicus Shebi; God Parents, Earl and Jacqueline Hester: Brother-In-Laws, Demond E. (Tabria) Johnson and Marcus (Shunae) Johnson: Sister-N-Laws, Rosalind Shaw, Lisa (Gonzalez) Smith, LaSonya (Rhonnie) Johnson-Crider, and Erica (Kevin Cummings) Johnson: Special Friends, Carlettia Dismuke and Monique McKnuckle: and a host of special aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both her paternal and maternal grandparents.
