Alvina T. Groth, 91, of Kensett, Arkansas, formerly of Rockford, Illinois, passed away peacefully, Friday morning, March 28, 2025. She was born April 27, 1933 in Adrian, Minnesota, the daughter of Joseph and Philomena Roeder. Alvina married Norman Groth and they share 63 loving years together. In her younger years, she was a member of the 4-H club. Alvina was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed baking her famous banana bread, tending to her garden and cooking delicious meals for her family. She loved knitting and making slippers and mittens as gifts. Alvina enjoyed fishing. She is deeply loved and will be missed.
Alvina is survived by her children, Theresa Golden, Shirley Burchard, Jerry Groth and Bill (Angie) Groth; grandchildren, Casey, Nakia, Lea, Christopher, Jason, Nick, Brandon and Rachel and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Norman, grandson Tanner Groth, sisters Darlene Ehmke and Lucy Gilbert, son-in-laws Bill Maverick Golden and Lonnie Burchard and daughter-in-law Dina Groth.
