

AnnaBelle H. Bald, 88, of Rockford passed away Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at Alpine Fireside Health Center. Born Dec. 28, 1923, in Freeport, daughter of Earl and Viola (Baker) Stata. She married Richard C. Bald on May 21, 1947, in Rockford. She was a longtime member of Charles Street First Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday school teacher more than 25 years. A wife, mother, sister and friend, AnnaBelle's happiest moments in life were those spent with family. Those left to cherish her memories include daughters, Barb Davis, of Durand and Sylvia (Roger) Bruyn of Rockford; granddaughters, Beth Baker and Amy Bruyn of Hoffman Estates; great-grandson, Jonathan Baker; great-granddaughter, Sabrina Chan; brother, Mike (Dorothy) Stata of Venice, Fla..; sisters, Edna Waller of Machesney Park and Shirley Lange of Rockford; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Predeceased by husband, Richard; parents, Earl and Viola; brothers, Earl Jr., Stanley and Jerry Stata.

Funeral service at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Road, Machesney Park, with Pastor Scott Williquette officiating.
