Barbara Rae Crosty

Barbara Rae Crosty, 83,of Rockford passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, July 13, 2017. Born on July 25, 1933 in Rockford, IL. Daughter of Dean and Carolyn (Petersen) Hodges. Married Donald Eugene Crosty on March 27, 1953 in Rockford. He predeceased her on November 28, 2013. She worked as a secretary for the Local Dairy Union #742. Member of the Verdi Club Woman’s Auxiliary and Lombardi Club. Along with Don she enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling, bowling and playing bocce. She enjoyed being with her family.

Survivors include children, Bob (Dodi) Crosty, Kathy Crosty, Cherie Crosty; son-in-law, Dan Johnson; grandchildren, Bill (Dawn) Coogan, Mike (Nikki) Coogan, Steven (Nicole) Stockdale, Brandon Stockdale, Bruce “Scooter” Richmond Jr, Artie Martin, Mark (Ravin) Brewer Jr, Jarrad Larson, Shaunna Brass; great-grandchildren, Cody and Clayton Coogan, Sylis, Myles, Lily Brewer; brother, Mike (Donna) Hodges. Predeceased by her parents; spouse, Don; Daughter, Debbie; great-granddaughter, Mikayla.
