Barbara Conover Marin

She was born on December 7, 1934 in Rockford to Charles and Margaret (Davidson) Conover. She was a 1952 graduate of Harlem High School and worked for many years at Warner Lambert.

Barbara was always considered the “life of the party”; she loved to travel, was in a bowling league, but she especially loved her cats, friends and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Robin (Larry) Hughes and Andrea (Kish) Baley; grandchildren, Jessica, Jon, Heather (Jeremy) and Adrian; great grandchildren, Noah, D.J., Brandon and LaChelle; siblings Margaret Harris, Stuart (Sue) Conover, David (Ann) Conover, Elayne DeVan, and Gordon Conover; brother in law, Ron Harris; good friends, John (Betty) Reynolds and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Elizabeth Harris; brother in law, Don Harris; and sister in law Sandra Conover.

Memorial service will be held at 10am on Monday, April 22, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Road, Machesney Park. Pastor Don Hexheimer will be officiating. Visitation will be held from 9am to 10am. Cremation rites will be accorded.
