Barbara Jane Randall

Barbara Jane Randall, 88, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 21, 2021 in Ocean Springs, MS (formally of Rockford, IL) after a long illness. Barbara was born on November 5, 1932 to John C. and Beulah Volker in Cumberland, WI.

Barbara loved playing Solitaire, putting together puzzles, being outside, feeding the birds, sitting on the deck or mowing the yard until she was no longer able to do so. She was a kind hearted, independent person and led a life that was not simple or easy but laughed with joy. She was always there for any the grandchildren to talk to.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin, in 1998; brothers Raymond, Roland, John Volker; sister Irene and her parents.

Barbara is survived by her children, Mark (Ingrid) Wedige, Raymond (Jodie) Wedige, Gloria (David) Christensen, Gary (Paula) Randall and Vicki Wigtion; 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, siblings Beverly Lyles and James (Judy) Volker and many nieces and nephews.

Private interment will be held on Monday, July 12, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Machesney Park, IL for Melvin and Barbara Randall.
