Barbara L. Sola

Barbara Lynn Sola, Rockford, died on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at her home after a short illness. A lifelong Rockford resident and graduate of Guilford High School. She had a loving marriage to Jim for 39 years and was with him side by side in work and in life. They co-owned Marc’s Fusion Café with Marc Rapp. Barb loved golfing, cooking for the holidays and special events. Her house was always open to all. No two people were more meant for each other than Barb and Jim.

She is survived by husband, Jim; brothers, Gary and Robert Kardell; and nieces and nephews. Preceded by her parents, Wallace and Mary Kardell. Special thank you to OSF Hospice for all their assistance.
