Ben “Benny” Foto, 70, of Loves Park, passed away September 11, 2015 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Born September 15, 1944 in Roccamena, Sicily; he was the son of Salvatore and Giuseppa (Artale) Foto. He married Dorotea Frisella on August 15, 1970.
A member of Saint Anthony of Padua Church, Benny retired from Logli’s after 15 years of employment.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Dorotea “Dina” Foto; children, Salvatore and Gisella Foto; sister, Maria (Lillo) Napoli; sister-in-law, Maria (Frank) Catalanoto; brother-in-law, John (Maria) Frisella.
He was predeceased by his parents.
Funeral mass 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 16th, at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 1010 Ferguson Street, Rockford. Visitation 9 a.m. until time of service at the church. Entombment in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Online condolences may be submitted at sunsetfhmemgardens.com
