Bernetha enjoyed being outside in her garden, tending to her flowers. She loved cooking and completing puzzles. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family whom she dearly loved.
She is survived by her children, Debra (Barry) Gregory, Sandra (Doug) Fox, and Brian (Amy) Ralston; grandchildren, Eric (Heidi) Gregory, Amanda Gregory, Janelle (Jeremy) Vowells, Matthew Fox, Kevin Ralston, and Garrett (Kiley) Ralston; great-grandchildren, Seth Gregory, Cassidy Gregory, Karley Gregory, Madilyn Gregory, Noah Vowells, Huck Vowells, Isla Ralston, Allister Ralston, Amber Ralston, Chandlor Ralston, and Skyler Ralston; daughter-in-law, Jeanie Ralston; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bernetha was preceded in death by her husband, Ovid Ralston; parents, Anna and Clyde Thomason; son, Dennis Ralston, and grandson, Kenneth Ralston.
A visitation for Bernetha will be held Friday, June 14, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Sunset Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 8800 North Alpine Road, Machesney Park, Illinois 61115, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM.
