Betty J. Dunn

Betty Jean Dunn, 79, died unexpectedly in her home on Saturday, December 16 2017, a loving mom and grandma. Betty was born December 31, 1937, in Greenville, NC. to Lewis and Juanita (McGowan) Hudson. Betty was a valued employee who worked for Chrysler for over 30 years in many capacities. She enjoyed working on her flowers and showcasing her beautiful results. Betty enjoyed watching football, her soap operas and solving crossword puzzles. She enjoyed the tunes of Tina Turner and Elvis Presley. Betty fashioned her life around her family, cooking their favorite foods and surrounding them with lots of love.

Survivors: son, Ricky (Martha) Rhodes; grandchildren, Jayson ( Rhonda), Joseph ( Jessica), Justin (Tracey) Rhodes and all their families, Tom Cruz; Ricky’s wife, Martha and her children; sister, Lois Anthony; brother, Allen Hudson; many loving nieces and nephews; long-time very special friend, Rose Powers.
