Betty L. Finch, age 95, of Rockford, Illinois passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025. She was born May 23, 1929 in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Harry and Hannah (Larson) Franzen. She graduated from East High School. Betty married Wallace O. Finch in 1948, he preceded her in death on November 30,1983. She was also married to Albert Lesko in July of 2003, he preceded her in death in 2010. Betty was a member of First Free Evangelical Church in Rockford. She was a home seamstress and enjoyed knitting. Betty was an avid baker. She is deeply loved and missed.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Ginger (Mohammed) Elbrichi; grandchildren, Adam Elbrichi and Rachel (Jacob) Parent; great-grandchildren, Hailey and Lucas Parent; daughter-in-laws, Gabriela Finch and Renee Finch; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, sons, Doug Finch and Brad Finch.
A funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Friday, February 7, 2025, 8800 N. Alpine Rd, Machesney Park, IL 61115. A private burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
