Betty L. Hinton entered into eternal rest at 10 AM on Jan.12, 2019 at The Grand Victorian in Rkfd,IL surrounded by her family. Born Aug. 21, 1927, daughter of William S. And Venita E. Cary. Married Thomas F. Hinton on Sept. 22, 1956 in Kansas City, MO. Was Executive Secretary at Bendix Aviation in Kansas City for 8 years and at Travelors Insurance in Rockford for 18 years. She was a member of Spring Creek United Church Of Christ, Daughters Of The Nile, and local Red Hattitudes. Betty was a kind, caring person who loved spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include daughters Jerre Hinton Taylor of Fayetteville, N.C and Sabrina Larson of Machesney Park; very special granddaughter Hilary Halsted; brother, E.H. (Mary) Cary; one niece and two nephews. Predeceased by husband, Thomas Hinton, parents, and brother, W.S. “Jerry” Cary.
