Beverly J. Meurer

Born Sept. 29, 1932 in Lockport, IL, she lived most of her adult life in Rockford, IL. She was a certified data entry specialist and worked many years at J.L. Clark until retiring in 1998. Beverly was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church in Rockford and most recently St. Mary Catholic Church in Byron.

Beverly is survived by her two children: Michelle and husband Patrick O’Connell of Wheaton, IL; Michael and wife Doris Meurer of Byron; and by her three cherished granddaughters, Abigail O’Connell, Samantha Meurer and Lindsey Meurer. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Leona (Silakowski) and Michael Harvey; and by her beloved brother, Edward Harvey.

On Friday, Jan. 8, visitation will be offered from 10-11:00 a.m. with funeral mass to follow at 11 a.m., both at St. Mary Catholic Church, 220 E 2nd St, Byron, IL 61010.

Following services, interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens at 8800 North Alpine Road, Machesney Park, IL 61115. Family and friends are welcome for a luncheon following interment, also at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
