Bonnie J Harvey

Bonnie J. Harvey, 74, of Machesney Park, passed away Monday February 8, 2016. Born February 17, 1941 in Bardley, MO. Daughter of James Elmer and Ella Josephine (Mathis) Purl. Married Richard J. Harvey on June 9, 1956 in Dubuque, IA. He predeceased her on September 9, 2011. Employed as a key punch operator at Rockford Powertrain for 32 years before retiring in 1997. Along with being a loving mother and grandmother, she enjoyed golfing, bowling and line dancing.

Survivors include children, Terri (Dan Perkins) De Marb and Richard (Sherie) Harvey; grandchildren, Chad (Sarah Diamond) De Marb, Nicholas (Steve Hudson) De Marb, Stephanie (Gregory) Levingston, Joseph Harvey, Steven (Myra) Harvey, Stacey (Stephen) Scott, Ricky Harvey; great-grandchildren, Hanna, Landon, Reagan, Bradley, Scarlett, Adeline; siblings, Wanda Stepp, Velma Owens, Jerry (Vicki) Purl and Kathryn (Roger) Rockwell; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents; spouse; siblings, Ed, Alvin, Beulah Ingram, Betty Enerson, Ralph; brother-in-law’s, Harvey Enerson, Gene Stepp, Bob Owens.

Funeral Service at 2 pm Saturday, Feb 13, at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Road, Machesney Park. Visitation at 1 pm until time of service. Entombment in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
