Carol Foster, 80, of Marco Island, Florida and Rockford died Monday, November 21, 2011 at home. She was born August 16, 1931 in Sparta, Wisconsin to Peter and Ethel Jensen. On June 6, 1953 she married Jack Foster. She was active with the Lunch Bunch on Marco Island. Carol owned and worked at a number of small manufacturing companies in Rockford. She enjoyed watching all sports and was an avid Packer and Wisconsin Badger fan. Her greatest joys were her twins and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter Jackie (Tim) Myers, son Jeff (Debbie) Foster; grandchildren Holly Myers, Nathan Foster, Jason Erickson, Teri (Tony) Knaff; and her sister Joan Kunkle.
She is preceded in death by her parents, infant son James Christopher, and Jack Foster.
Visitation will be from 9 -11 am with the service immediately following on Saturday Nov 26 at Central Christian Church, 6595 Guilford Rd. Rockford. Interment will be private in Baraboo, WI.
