Charles “Chuck” C. Van Over, 56, of Rockford, IL. went to be with the Lord Fri. Sept. 30, 2016. Born in Huntsville TX. on September 14, 1960 to William and Elizabeth Van Over. Proudly served his country as a sergeant in the U.S. Army. Chuck embraced the open road as a truck driver for many years with Rock Valley Oil. He had a quirky sense of humor that could always put a smile on your face. A life well celebrated, he loved the Lord and was a servant to many, offering monthly visits to folks in the Nursing Home, socializing and sharing scripture. Chuck was a faithful member of Memorial Baptist Church. He loved to spread the word of God hoping everyone would have the opportunity to come to know the Lord. Chuck enjoyed simple pleasures in life; reading, finding comfort with a fishing pole, playing video games, dabbling with the computer, but most importantly surrounding himself with family and the comfort of his dog, Baylee, who never left his side
