Charles was devout in his Christian faith. He treated everyone with care and respect, and everyone who met him knew he loved the Lord.
Charles is survived by his children, Daniel, Sunee, and Sumali; siblings, Linda (Mylon) Ballard and Wayne (Shirley) Lamb; many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, July 6, 2026 at 11am at Sunset Memorial Gardens (8800 N. Alpine Road, Machesney Park, IL 61115).
