Charlotte Jeanette Taylor

Charlotte “Jeanette” Taylor, 94, of Rockford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 30, 2016. Born on April 18, 2016 in St Paul, MN. Daughter of George and Mary Fern (Margason) Lanning. Married David Taylor on March 22, 1941. He predeceased her on July 24, 2009. Member of Calvary Lutheran Church. Lifetime member of VFW Women’s Auxiliary. Retired from Rockford Products after several years. She loved to knit, crochet and read her Kindle. She was most passionate about spending time with her family and friends.

Survived by son, Dennis (Mary) Taylor; daughter, Connie Ruggero; grandchildren, Cindy (Billy) King, David (Maureen) Taylor, Carol (Mike) Rodgers, Richard (Mary Ellen) Rice, Mike (Jennifer) Rice, James (Kim) Rice, Nick Ruggero, Sam (Gloria) Ruggero; 20 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her parents; brothers; sisters; spouse; daughter, Patricia Ann (Richard) Rice.

Funeral Services at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, December 7 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 North Alpine Road, Machesney Park. Pastor Scott Olson will be officiating.
