Claud "Bud" Herbert Larson

Claud married the love of his life, Vivian Shain on March 23, 1963.

He was a life-long member of Halsted Road Baptist Church.

Claud owned and operated Bud Larson Concrete Construction for many years. He thoroughly enjoyed working on the farm, raising cattle, and boarding horses, but he was happiest when spending time with his family.

He will be truly missed.

Survivors include his children, Linda Cordell, Carol Richards, Judy (Paul) Fernandez, Joanne Kibbe, Gary (Cathy) Tallacksen, Ron (Linda) Tallacksen, and Brian (Bev) Tallacksen; brother, Hubert “Babe” (Velma) Larson; sister-in-law, Irma Larson, and numerous grandchildren, great- grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

He is predeceased by his wife; parents; son, Jerry Larson; daughter, Kay Carlston; siblings, Laurella (Martin) Johnson, Gordon (Lois) Larson, Francis (Neal) Patton, and Arnie Larson, son-in-laws, Leon Cordell, Harold Richards, and Bob Kibbe.

Funeral service 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd, Machesney Park. Pastor Jerry DeMond officiant.
