Cole Thompson

Cole Thompson, 25 of Toledo OH, passed away August 21, 2021. He was born on June 27, 1996 to Elizabeth Cole and Randy Thompson. He was raised in the Roscoe area and graduated from Hononegah high school, class of 2014. Cole was a talented hockey player for many years. He was on the Jr. Ice Men team of Rockford, and went on to represent the Beloit Blades. Cole was a loving dog owner to his pit-bulls Rosie and Aoife. He worked for Chrysler Assembly Plant for many years, at both the Belvidere IL and Toledo OH locations. He was a hard worker, a loving son, and a dedicated pet owner. He will be missed by many.

He leaves to cherish his memory; his mother, Elizabeth Tracey (George Doran) Cole, brother; Damon Rebelak, grandparents; Sandra Thompson and Margaret M. Cole, as well as his aunt and uncle; Brenda (Dave) Burris, and nephew Jordan Burris, as well as numerous extended family members who he loved dearly.

A funeral service for Cole is scheduled for August 28, 2021 at 2pm at Sunset Funeral Home. Located at 8800 N. Alpine Rd. Machesney Park IL 61115. A visitation will be held at 1pm until the time of service.
